This dynamic new line of 44 and 49 key pianos, launched to coincide with Schoenhut's 135th anniversary, features TRUE PIANO SOUND, without the use of electronics. The mid-sized piano is less intimidating for small children who want to learn to play the piano. Response to this new product has been enthusiastic! Young musicians-to-be love to learn at a piano that is "just my size".
Piano teachers comment again and again on the importance of a child being able to reach the pedals. Children, especially aged 5 and up, can fit comfortably at these pianos, sitting upon a nicely cushioned, adjustable bench sized to fit young ones perfectly.
The keys, action parts, strings and tuning pins are all standard parts, the same as in full-size upright or grand acoustic pianos, and readily serviceable by your piano tuner/technician. The construction methods mirror those used in modern acoustic piano manufacturing.

After the piano has been delivered (1-2 weeks after order is placed), the customer needs to wait 3-4 days and have a professional piano tuner come in to tune the piano. All sales are final on this item. It is inspected from top to bottom before it leaves the factory, so any damage would be shipping damage, which would have to be addressed with the shipping company.
